Speaking with Glamour Magazine, Ariel Winter, the teenage star of the TV hit, Modern Family, revealed that she recently underwent breast reduction surgery. Struggling with the emotional and physical burden of her size 32F breasts, at 17 years old, Ariel made the decision to reduce her breasts to a more modest 34D. I’d have to wear the dress that was super tight and form fitted everywhere”. Ariel didn’t struggle only on the red carpet. A constant battle, Ariel noted that she couldn’t “go to a party with friends and wear the same thing as them”.

While emotionally difficult, the physical pain caused by large breasts can be excruciating: “It was so painful. I had a lot of back problems. I really couldn’t stand up straight for long periods of time… My neck was hurting so bad and I actually had some problems with my spine”.

Expressing her love for her now-reduced bosom, Ariel enthusiastically exclaimed, “the feeling of not having so much there was such a relief… I can’t even explain the feeling… so relieved and excited”. Concluding, “you feel like a new person, you feel like this is how I was supposed to be”.
